Job brief
We are looking for a Head of Operations to oversee daily activities across all our business functions, and in particular - IT, regulatory compliance and finance.
Head of Operations responsibilities includes the evaluation and optimization of our tech and data stacks, as well as the implementation of technology solutions, the evaluation and optimization of our business processes and the evaluation and optimization of our talent acquisition and retention policies.
You should be a responsible leader with an analytical and strategic mind and have a broad knowledge of the business. If you’re also committed to productivity and compliance, we’d like to meet you.

Responsibilities
Process, data and tools
- Formulate business strategy with others in the executive team
- Design policies that align with the overall strategy
- Implement efficient processes and standards to ensure these policies are met
- Implement best practice IT and data tools to enable these processes
- Track the success of our tools and processes through the creation and monitoring of KPIs and dashboards
- Report of operational performance and suggest both process oriented and tech oriented improvements
- Manage a team of Data, Business and IT professionals to ensure our tools and processes are sufficiently implemented and managed
Compliance
- Ensure compliance with local and international laws (e.g. data protection)
- Evaluate risk and lead quality assurance efforts
Operational support
- Oversee expenses and budgeting to help the organization optimize costs and benefits
- Mentor and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve productivity and engagement through processes and training
- Coordinate customer service operations and find ways to ensure customer retention
- Manage company-wide contracts and relations with vendors, partners, and other stakeholders
Requirements
What you have done:
- 7+ years of total experience
- 5+ years of Operational management experience (e.g. Head of Operations, Director of Business Operations, etc.)
- 2+ years of direct people management experience, preferably managing a team of analysts (business and/or data)
- Proven experience in assessing and implementing IT solutions / vendors
- Knowledge of business analytics best practices and of the use of tools like Visio or Lucid Charts
- Extensive project management experience, with both Business and IT related projects
- Experience and a good understanding of tools like SQL or Tableau (or other BI related tools) and experience in designing, tracking and operationalizing analytical dashboards
- Exposure to a wide range of business issues across IT, Finance, Compliance, Marketing, HR, etc.
- Previous consulting experience - not required but nice to have
- Previous Manufacturing industry experience - not required but nice to have
- BA / BS in a STEM or Business related discipline. MS (in STEM) or MBA nice to have but not required
