  9. Agile Execution: Determine precise production requirements and expedite orders/jobs as needed to maintain workflow integrity.
  10. Customer-Centric Support: Support sales staff by providing vital customer service functions, including generating customer-facing schedules, seamless order processing, and shipment verification.
  11. Judicious Execution: Exercise sound judgment within established procedures to ensure timely and effective actions.
  12. Safety: Compliance with safety standards and policies will be graded as part of job performance.

Additional Responsibilities

  3. Inventory Management: Assist in managing finished goods inventory to maintain optimal stock levels and meet customer demand.

Qualifications

  1. Experience: Possess a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in production planning & control, operations scheduling, and shop floor management, showcasing proficiency and reliability.
  2. Certification: Hold certifications in production planning and scheduling, with expertise in related topics like demand forecasting and master production scheduling, demonstrating commitment to professional development.
  3. ERP Proficiency: Exhibit advanced proficiency in ERP systems like Epicor or equivalents such as Global Shop, Job Boss, or Pro Shop, showcasing technical acumen and adaptability.
  4. Scheduler Mastery: Command a working knowledge of commercial schedulers like Tactic, OpCenter, Planet Together, etc., demonstrating versatility and readiness to tackle diverse challenges.
  5. Lean Manufacturing: Demonstrate experience in lean manufacturing practices adapted for high mix, low volume manufacturing environments, showcasing agility and innovation.
  6. Analytical Skills: Possess strong SQL and other analytics skills (e.g. Excel, Power BI, etc.) for querying and analyzing data from ERP/MES systems, enabling insightful decision-making and data-driven optimizations.
  7. Methodological Expertise: Exhibit expertise in process analysis, production scheduling/planning, and continuous improvement methodologies, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
  8. Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication abilities to bridge technical and operational teams effectively, fostering collaboration and synergy.
  9. Problem-Solving Acumen: Be self-motivated with robust problem-solving and decision-making skills, showcasing resilience and adaptability in fast-paced environments.
