QUALITY ENGINEER

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and quality of our products and procedures through rigorous inspections, implementation of quality control measures, and identification of areas of improvement.

Daily Responsibilities: (will include but not be limited to)

  • Write and amend procedures to ensure compliance to AS9100
  • Conduct internal audits and RMAs
  • Initiate and track internal and external corrective/preventative actions
  • Initiate returned parts investigation, analysis, synthesis, and customer communication
  • Coordinate source inspection
  • Perform contract reviews
  • Perform data package reviews
  • Monitor supplies process capability and quality performance
  • Manage calibration to ensure all shop floor tools are calibrated

Job Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering (aerospace preferred)
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read blueprints
  • Able to lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Knowledge of Aerospace standards (ex. AS9100, ISO9001)

Additional Information:

Compensation Range: $22.00 - $32.00 per hour, depending on experience

Full Time Employment (40 hours per week)

On site position

Work hours: 6:00 am - 2:30 pm
